2. By registering for this tournament, players acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by all of the rules.

3. Breaking any rule may result in a Forfeit of a Game, Match, or Ban from SODMG Gamers.

4. The rules are subject to change at any time, so check them often.

5. All SODMG Gamers Ladder Rules apply, unless otherwise specified below.

6. All participants must be legal residents of the United States. Only one (1) prize per household per Tournament. Employees of SODMG Gamers, the Tournament's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, and members of the immediate family of any such persons, are not eligible to participate and win.

7. ** Users must utilize their own unique username for competing on SODMG Gamers. This unique username must have been registered on SODMG Gamers personally by the user. The registered username must contain the correct and complete Name, Address, and Email of the user. If a false Name, Address, or Email was entered, the user voids the privilege to participate in the Ladder/Tournament and receive any prizes.

2. Map is Pavlion.

3. All weapons.

4. No Melee attacks allowed (No Beatdowns).

5. Turbo Controllers are not permitted in this tournament and will result in a forfeit if used.

All Matches

1. Players must be signed in to Xbox Live for all Matches.

2. Players must appear offline for the entire Match.

3. No warm-up or practice Games are permitted once the Match’s first Game has begun.

4. If you decide to play a match earlier than the scheduled default time, you MUST provide proof of winning that match.

5. Starting a Map with the wrong Game Settings may result in a Forfeit of the Map.

6. Teams must have at least 2 members present in order to start a Round/Map.

7. If by 15 minutes past the scheduled Match time a Team doesn’t have enough players to play, the incomplete Team Forfeits the Games they cannot play.

8. To get help with a No Show issue, you MUST contact staff via Live Support. We must verify the no show. To get to Live Support, click on the Support tab within the Tournament and go to the Live Support link.

9. In order to get a Forfeit Win, a Team must submit a Ticket within 30 minutes of the scheduled Match time. The Ticket must include proof of your allegation of cheating, wrong weapons used, etc. Your proof MUST be submitted immediately with your Ticket. Video proof can be edited to include only the section where the offense takes place. However, the video MUST include the score screen at one point. If proof is not included with your Ticket, or the Ticket is submitted after 30 minutes after the scheduled Match time, the Match win will be decided by staff.

10. Teams may delay the Match between Maps for up to five minutes. Teams can request that an Online Tournament Support Staff member enforce this five minute time limit. In a 4v4 Tournament, teams are permitted to start a map shorthanded as long as it is not a kill-dependent game mode. If teams do not have enough players to start a kill-dependent game mode, they will forfeit that map. In a 3v3 player Tournament and below, teams are never permitted to start a map shorthanded.

11. If the Party Leader/Host wrongly ends a Map, their Team will forfeit the Map.

Bracket Play

1. Game Types will be set for each Round of the Bracket.

2. After losing a Match, Teams will be eliminated from the Bracket.

3. The higher seeded Team must host the first Map. The lower seeded Team must choose sides on the first Map. Then, the lower seeded Team must host the second Map. The higher seeded Team must choose sides on the second Map. Whichever Team wins the most rounds overall (or most kills overall) must host the third Map. If the rounds and kills are tied, the higher seeded team will host. The other Team chooses sides. The Maps must be played in order.

4. The Bracket default time is listed on the Info Tab for the Tournament. Matches must be played and completed at the default time. Neither team can request to postpone the match. Extensions will not be made period; these tournaments are considered lighting rounds and MUST BE PLAYED.

5. If a Match is not played, and neither Team submits a Ticket requesting the Forfeit win, the Match win will be decided by staff.

Host

1. Hosting players should create the Custom Games Lobby as this is likely to give them Host. As the hosting Team changes over the course of a Match, the new Host should leave the Custom Games Lobby and create a new one so they are likely to be given Host for that Map.

2. If for some reason the Host isn't given to the player that was designated to be the Map’s Host, the Map must still be played. For example, some games randomly choose a Host, so neither team will be able to designate who the Host will be.

3. Teams should play a test Map, for roughly 30 seconds, before a new Host is going to be used, in order to determine if the Host is reasonable. Test Maps should be played using a Game Type the Teams are not scheduled to play so that players aren’t confused about whether the Match has officially begun or not.

4. All players must agree that the Host is reasonable before the start of a Map. If a reasonable Host cannot be found, the Team’s best Host must be used.

5. If a player’s connection to the Host becomes unreasonable during a Map, the Map must still be played. After each Map, either Team may request that a new Host be tested, if the previous Host was unreasonable.

6. If a player loses their connection to the Host when the Map launches, the Map must be restarted.

7. If a player loses their connection to the Host during a Map that has a kill-dependant game mode, their Team Forfeits the Map.

8. If a player loses their connection to the Host during a non-kill-dependant game, the Map must continue.

Online Tournament Support Staff

1. Online Tournament Admins can be contacted on Live Support to answer any questions or solve any problems your Team may have during a Match. Contact information for Online Tournament Support Admins can be found on the Support Tab located within the Tournament. Arena Referees and Arena Administrators should not be contacted.

2. If an Online Tournament Admin is called into a Custom Games Lobby, players must keep the Admin un-muted at all times.

3. Abuse of our Online Tournament Staff will not be tolerated in any form. This includes written messages or verbal comments. Violators will be removed from the Tournament and SODMG Gamers.

Reporting

1. Both Teams must report the Match results within 15 minutes of its completion.

2. To report the Match results, Teams must report the Match Score (2-0, or 2-1). Reporting the individual Game Scores is optional.

3. At least one member of each Team should take a Screenshot(s) of each Round’s results. Screenshots should contain the Round Score, players on each Team, and a time stamp.

4. In order to dispute Match results, Tickets must be submitted immediately following the Match.

5. If a Screenshot(s) is needed in order to resolve a dispute, it should be transferred to the user’s computer and uploaded to a free image-hosting site. Videos may also be uploaded to the GB Game Room. The URL for the image(s)/video should be attached to the dispute Ticket(s).

6. For all cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser.

7. Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike behaviour may result in a Forfeit of a Game, Match, or ban from SODMG Gamers.
